Senior Full-Stack Developer

About This Role

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to build the next generation of carbon compliance tools at GreenLedger. You will work across the entire stack, from designing intuitive React interfaces to building robust Node.js APIs and optimizing PostgreSQL queries. You will play a key role in shaping the architecture of our platform as we scale to serve enterprises across the ASEAN region. This role offers the opportunity to work on meaningful technology that directly contributes to combating climate change.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new features across our React/Next.js frontend and Node.js backend
• Architect scalable, maintainable solutions for emissions calculation engines and compliance reporting pipelines
• Optimize database queries and data models in PostgreSQL for large-scale emissions datasets
• Build and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs consumed by web and mobile clients
• Implement real-time data processing pipelines for live emissions monitoring dashboards
• Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to maintain high code quality
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers on best practices
• Collaborate with product designers and compliance analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Contribute to technical decision-making and architecture reviews
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience with React or Next.js and TypeScript
• Strong backend development experience with Node.js and Express or Fastify
• Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL or similar relational databases, including query optimization and schema design
• Experience with cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure, including serverless architectures
• Proven track record of building and shipping production applications at scale
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles and GraphQL
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or Jenkins
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with real-time data processing systems such as Kafka or Redis Streams
• Familiarity with data visualization libraries like D3.js, Recharts, or Visx
• Knowledge of carbon accounting or sustainability reporting standards
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi
• Prior experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise software development
