Product Designer

About This Role

We are seeking a talented Product Designer to create intuitive, beautiful interfaces that make complex carbon compliance data accessible and actionable for enterprise users. You will own the design process end-to-end, from user research and ideation through high-fidelity prototyping and developer handoff. You will work closely with engineering and compliance teams to design experiences that simplify one of the most complex regulatory challenges facing businesses today.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design process for new features from discovery through to high-fidelity prototyping and developer handoff
• Conduct user research including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and contextual inquiry with enterprise clients
• Design complex data visualization dashboards that present emissions data and compliance metrics clearly
• Create and maintain our design system with reusable components, patterns, and guidelines
• Develop interactive prototypes to validate design concepts with stakeholders and users
• Collaborate closely with frontend engineers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation of designs
• Define and track design metrics to measure the impact of design decisions on user outcomes
• Present design work to leadership and incorporate feedback iteratively
• Advocate for user needs and accessibility standards across the organization

Requirements

• 4+ years of product design experience for B2B SaaS applications
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in dashboard design, data visualization, and complex form workflows
• Expert-level proficiency in Figma including component design, auto layout, and prototyping
• Experience building and maintaining design systems at scale
• Proven track record of conducting user research and translating insights into design improvements
• Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and design best practices

Nice to Have

• Experience designing for enterprise compliance, fintech, or regulatory technology products
• Familiarity with frontend development technologies such as React, Tailwind CSS, or CSS-in-JS
• Knowledge of data visualization best practices and libraries such as D3.js
• Experience with motion design and micro-interactions using tools like Rive or After Effects
• Understanding of carbon accounting or sustainability reporting concepts
