DevOps Engineer

About This Role

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to scale our infrastructure across the ASEAN region and ensure the reliability, security, and performance of the GreenLedger platform. You will design and manage our cloud infrastructure, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, and implement security best practices across our entire technology stack. This is a critical role as we grow to serve large enterprises with demanding uptime and data residency requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure for Indonesia data residency compliance
• Implement and maintain Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration and service deployment
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for automated testing, building, and deployment
• Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for reproducible environment management
• Implement comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry
• Design and execute disaster recovery plans, including automated failover and backup verification
• Conduct security hardening of infrastructure, including network segmentation, WAF configuration, and vulnerability scanning
• Manage database operations including replication, backup, and performance optimization for PostgreSQL
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and resource utilization
• Maintain documentation for infrastructure architecture, runbooks, and incident response procedures

Requirements

• Strong experience with AWS or Azure cloud services, including compute, networking, storage, and security
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters in production environments
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Terraform
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for complex application deployments
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, including VPCs, load balancing, DNS, and TLS certificate management
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog
• Knowledge of security best practices including least-privilege access, encryption, and compliance frameworks

Nice to Have

• Experience with multi-region or multi-cloud deployments, particularly in the Southeast Asia region
• Knowledge of Indonesia data residency requirements and compliance regulations
• Experience with GitOps practices using tools like ArgoCD or Flux
• Familiarity with service mesh technologies such as Istio or Linkerd
• Experience with SOC 2 or ISO 27001 compliance in cloud environments
